Submitting Declarations Electronically

When submitting customs declaration using the system, you must ensure that adhere to the following guidelines below:

Shipping Information
  • Ensure all shipping details provided are correct and accurate
  • Ensure the correct Bill of Lading/Airway Bill reference number is provided
  • Correct packing information is supplied, including quantities and units of measure
  • Ensure the Consignee/Importer/Trader has a valid Commercial Registration (CR) issued by the Bahrain Ministry of Trade and Commerce for the goods being declared

 

Item Details
  • Ensure correct Harmonized Code (HS Code) classification is provided
  • Correct Goods value and currency is provided

 

Please note: It is an offence to provide inaccurate or incomplete information on your Customs Declaration. Penalties may be applied at the discretion of Customs Affairs. These penalties may include Fines, withdrawal of Clearing License or Legal action.
