Customs Affairs facilitates paperwork of participants of Jewellery Arabia

The Customs Affairs, in cooperation with the departments concerned, has offered facilities for the entry of products to be showcased at Jewellery Arabia, to be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.


President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that as part of the success of an office that was set up at the exhibition to streamline measures for the participants last year, a similar one would also be set up this year to carry necessary customs clearance operations. He said that this year the department would assign staff to monitor selling process at the event and registered the purchases information at the same time. Last year the data were registered at the end of the event.


He said that the Customs Affairs deploys 29 personnel who would work in shifts, highlighting that the Jewellery Arabia till the date attracted 600 companies from 30 states.
