His Excellency, Shaikh Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance of Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Excellency Lord Digby Jones, the British Minister of State for Commerce and Investment signed two (MOU).

 
The first (MOU) deals with mutual assistance and co-operation between the Customs Administrations of the two countries in matters relating to the fighting against serious and organized crime, smuggling of  drugs and other prohibited substances and in similar matters of mutual interest.

The second (MOU) is to help the capacity building in customs expertise and in developing effective customs procedures.
