The Director General of Customs Mr. Mohamad Ali Talib and the Under Secretary of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Hameed Yusuf Rahma, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to open the Customs Office at Bahrain Investors Centre at Seef Mall. This office was opened with the aim of providing professional service to the visitors and clients, who utilize Customs services, and to promote Bahrain as a Regional and International Investment centre and promote business.

This office aims at providing all relevant information, statistics and data related to Investors, like export, import, re-export procedures, warehouses and customs facilities. The objectives of the Bahrain Investment Centre which comes under the supervision of Ministry of Industry and Commerce is to provide high quality Government services to the private sector and promote Investors. All relevant authorities, like Ministry of Health, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Tourism, under one umbrella at Bahrain Investors Centre. As such, necessary required approvals and permission can be obtained by the business community.
