I am pleased to introduce to our visitors the newly designed website of the Customs Affairs. You will find the new website more detailed in terms of customs information, which we hope will meet our end-user requirements.

A special feature of the new look website is that it provides access to several Customs Departments and to newly introduced services for the benefit of customers, users and researchers. It is provided with a customs library guiding to valuable information and to our latest issues and publications.

Apart from the inclusion of a brief history of Bahrain Customs, you will find the website more interactive with facilities for making suggestions, requesting information and for subscribing to the Customs e-mail clientage for receiving updates and new Customs procedures. We have designed the new website with the aim of disseminating more information about the Customs functions and services and, equally important, of involving a larger group of users with constructive suggestions and positive feedback.

I hope we have been successful in this introduction, and as Customs officials and staff, we shall further endeavour to provide an even better service to our country and communities.
