Customs clearing is one of the important aspects of the entire Customs operations. The Clearing Agents are an important part of this procedure and their suggestions and ideas are very vital for the smooth clearing operations.

The conditions to be fulfilled for release of imported goods:

1. The consignee or authorized person should fulfill all the customs requirements.
2. The Agents should be authorized by the Customs Clearing Office.
3. The important requirements of customs agents:

• Candidate should not be less than 18 years of age.
• Should be good in writing and speaking, and should be familiar with general Arabic and English language.
• Candidate should be authorized by the consignee and should be familiar with all customs rules and procedures.
• Candidate should pass on exam conducted by the Directorate General of Customs
